No Wii Points cards in Latin America, but we don’t care

GoNintendo post today an interview with Melissa Wright Nintendo’s Manager of Sales and Marketing for Latin America. She claims that there will be no Wii point cards in Latin America. We hear from the official Nintendo Store in Colombia that in fact they won´t sell Wii points card, at least not this year. But who cares according to Melissa Wright we will be able to purchase Wii points on-line, and with the outrageous prices of consoles and games in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, there would be no reason for buying wii point-cards at a store.

On the other hand, IGN just got an update about the titles coming to the virtual console in 2007. I’m looking forward to get StarFox 64 and Super Metroid.
